If you’re choosing where to list a furnished monthly rental, or where to look for one, you’ve probably come across Furnished Finder. It’s a well-known site, especially with traveling healthcare professionals. Month ‘n’ More is newer, launching December 1, 2026. Both are built around stays of a month or longer, and both let owners keep their rent. So how do they differ?

Here’s a neutral, side-by-side look based on each company’s published information. Competitor details are as of October 29, 2026 and can change, so always check their current pages too.

What they have in common

It’s worth starting here, because the two are more alike than different:

  • Flat listing fees instead of commissions. Owners pay to list, then keep what renters pay.
  • Free for renters. Neither charges renters booking or service fees.
  • Monthly stays. Both focus on furnished homes for a month or more: work assignments, relocations, repairs and longer visits.
  • Direct conversations. Owners and renters talk to each other and set their own terms.

Where Month ‘n’ More is different

Two listings in one plan. The Month ‘n’ More owner plan includes two active listings, at $189 a year or $95 for six months. If you have two places, that’s one fee. There’s also a six-month option if you’d like a shorter commitment. See Month ‘n’ More pricing explained for owners.

Owner ID checks that renew every six months. Both sites ask owners to complete an ID and selfie check to list. On Month ‘n’ More, owners match a live selfie to a government-issued photo ID before submitting a listing, and renew it every six months. On Month ‘n’ More, verified always means the owner. Renters aren’t ID-checked. Read Owner ID check: why we ask and how it works.

Every listing is reviewed by a person. Our team reviews each new listing before it appears in search. It’s a check of the submitted information, not a home inspection. See what happens after you submit a listing for review.

Done-for-you setup at a set price. Professional Listing Setup is $60 for up to three listings. Our team writes, enters details and arranges your photos, then sends you a private draft. See what you get for $60.

Flexible terms. Plans are one-time by default, automatic renewal is opt-in, and you can cancel renewal any time. Your plan runs to the end of its term. See canceling your owner plan.

Where Furnished Finder is different

An established audience. Furnished Finder is an established site with an existing renter audience, including many traveling professionals. Month ‘n’ More launches on December 1, 2026, so it’s earlier in building its renter community.

Built-in tenant screening. Furnished Finder offers a tenant screening product inside its platform. According to its support pages, the $44.99 fee is typically paid by the tenant, and the landlord can choose to pay instead. Month ‘n’ More doesn’t offer screening. Owners who screen do it outside the platform. Read Screening renters the right way.

Online rent payments. Furnished Finder offers optional online rent payments through payment partners, where processing fees may apply. On Month ‘n’ More, rent and deposits are always arranged directly between owner and renter.

Per-listing pricing. Furnished Finder prices each listing at $199 a year, with add-on units at $149. That’s simple if you have one place.

Which fits you?

Month ‘n’ More may suit you if:

  • You have two places and like the idea of one plan covering both.
  • You want a six-month option.
  • You value human review of every listing and an owner ID check that renews every six months.
  • You’d like setup help at a known price.

Furnished Finder may suit you if:

  • You want an established renter audience right now.
  • You’d like screening and rent payments built into the same platform.

Plenty of owners list in more than one place, and that’s completely fine. Just keep your calendars in sync so you don’t double-book.

For renters

Both sites are free to search, and neither charges renters booking fees. On Month ‘n’ More, every owner has completed a live ID check and every listing has been reviewed by our team. Whichever site you use, slow down before you pay: see the home live, get a written agreement and never wire money to someone you haven’t confirmed. Our guide to spotting listing red flags before you send money walks you through it.

The bottom line

Both platforms share a fair idea: flat fees for owners, no fees for renters and no cut of the rent. The differences are in the details, like how many listings a plan covers, what’s built in and what you arrange yourself. Pick the one that fits how you rent.
